Leaders in the autism education community from around the world are set to gather in Bali next week for the Global Autism Project’s inaugural Global Summit. Organizers say one major goal of this year’s summit is to expand the conversation about what’s possible for people with autism.

Woman found dead at hourly motel in Denpasar, police investigating cause of death
A woman, who has been identified by her initials NPY, was found dead on Monday at an hourly motel in western Denpasar, hours after checking in with an unidentified man. Staff at the motel found her body with a towel tied around her mouth.

A gun belonging to the chief of the Negara Police was reportedly stolen on Saturday from his private vehicle, prompting authorities to launch an investigation to find the culprit.
“We are still investigating … We are still looking for the whereabouts of this [stolen] weapon,” Police Chief Commissioner Ruddi Setiawan, who heads the Denpasar Police, told Kumparan yesterday.
