British model Terrence Murrell, allegedly on the run from police in the United Kingdom for dealing illegal steroids, is on the run no more. That came to an end on Sunday when police here on Bali arrested the 30-year-old for drug use and overstaying his visa.

Another day, another report of tourists doing something strange in the streets of Bali. Yesterday, a video captured an Australian tourist dancing and shouting from the second floor of a house in Kuta, allegedly while threatening that he would jump to the streets.

Yesterday, the Denpasar Court ordered Kim Anne Alloggia, an Australian woman who was arrested in March for alleged possession of liquid marijuana, to one-year of rehabilitation at a hospital. 

The panel of Judges had found Alloggia guilty of abusing drugs for personal use, but gave her a relatively light final sentence compared to the prosecutor’s initial demand that she be sentenced to one year in prison.

The development of an airport on the north coast of Bali might take a little longer to get off the ground than first expected as Indonesia’s transportation minister has stressed that the project would depend on the progress of the island’s North-South toll road.
