Australian man walks free after being detained for prescription drugs in Bali
An Australian national who was detained at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport for alleged possession of drugs last week has now been freed, after authorities confirmed that the pills he brought were prescribed by doctors to treat his medical condition.

Police say Japanese woman who jumped from apartment building was escaping a robber
Police said they have arrested a 38-year-old man identified as Fahruddin after he allegedly robbed and strangled a Japanese woman in Denpasar on Monday. According to reports, the victim is still at the hospital for her injuries, after she jumped from the second floor of her apartment building in an attempt to escape the incident.

Inadequate waste treatment from textile dye business turned Badung river red: official
Officers from Denpasar’s Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) said they traced the source of Badung river turning red yesterday morning, after an investigation led them to a small textile dye business in the area.
