The Indonesian government is setting course to build coral reef gardens in five locations across Bali in hopes of conserving and restoring marine ecosystems around the island, as officials aim to also boost economic recovery through the project’s labour-intensive work.

A 60-year-old German man was apprehended by local authorities after he was reportedly screaming and causing a scene at a hotel in Sanur, Denpasar.
Officials are venturing the possibility that the man may be suffering from depression.

Seven Willys Jeep SUVs were trapped in a flash flood in Unda River in Bali’s Klungkung regency following heavy rain in the area on Sunday, with a number of people later rescued by local authorities.

Indonesian health officials run COVID-19 vaccination simulation in Bali
Indonesian health officials yesterday conducted a simulation for COVID-19 vaccination in Bali’s Badung regency, as the country gears up preparations to distribute potential vaccines for the infectious disease.
The Health Ministry has chosen two community health clinics (Puskesmas) in Bali and Bogor, West Java to train medical workers for Indonesia’s vaccination program.

A 62-year-old man in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has been arrested for the alleged rape of his 13-year-old granddaughter, whom he sexually abused since March of last year, according to reports.
