Thai meth swallowers get 16 years’ jail in Indonesia
Two Thai men were sentenced to heavy 16-year jail terms in Indonesia on Wednesday after swallowing a kilogram of methamphetamine in a foiled drug smuggling bid.
A district court in Bali handed down the sentence, which was less than the 18-year terms that prosecutors demanded for Prakob Seetasang, 30, and Adison Phonlamat, 20.

Neighbor finds body of 14 y.o. boy from East Nusa Tenggara after he hanged himself
A 14 year-old boy, identified by his initials YSS, from Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, was found dead after he reportedly hanged himself on Monday.
Police said that a neighbor, who has been identified as Kristofel Key, had been the one who found YSS’ body.

Woman dies after she was allegedly stabbed by husband at Denpasar market last night
A woman, who has been identified by her initial H, was allegedly stabbed last night by her own husband in Pasar Kreneng, northern Denpasar. Though local residents managed to take her to the local hospital after the incident, H unfortunately died from her wounds.

National Police reveal new details on suspected terrorist arrested in Bali last week
Spokesman of the National Police, Dedi Prasetyo, yesterday revealed new details about AT, one of the two suspected terrorists arrested in Bali’s Jembrana regency last week. Authorities said AT allegedly acted as an attack coordinator and was found to have provided tutoring on bomb-making for his extremist group.
