After leading the Brazilian team to victory at the 2019 Copa América earlier this month, legendary Brazilian right wing back Daniel ‘Dani’ Alves decided to celebrate his awesome triumph with a getaway to Bali.

And, from the looks of his latest Instagram posts, he’s definitely checking off a list of the most must-see spots on the island.

We don’t know how long Alves is staying in Bali, but he and his wife, Spanish model Joana Sanz,  have sure hit a lot of the island’s attractions in the past week. One of the first places they visited appears to have been Pura Besakih, the temple complex in Karangasem regency that is considered the most important, largest and holiest Hindu temple in Bali.

The couple also paid a visit to Bali Safari and Marine Park in Gianyar, where the most decorated pro soccer player of all time posed for photos with an elephant, a couple of tropical birds and an orangutan, all while dressed in an outfit that kind of makes him look like an employee of the park – something he even joked about in the photo caption.

“I already found work guys, a little heavy, a little risky, but a lot of fun!” the caption said.

Alves didn’t miss out on tasting Kopi Luwak during his trip either, as shown in a video posted on Instagram, along with a caption that said:

“Experiences are what enriches the life of an adventurer. The best coffee in the world comes from the ‘feces of the kopi luwak’ or, from its poop if you’re talking without class. But it’s cool that they clean it well before serving! Are you ready to take the new invention, cacaccino?”

Cacaccino, of course, is a play on the word Cappuccino, which has increasingly been used as an alternative to Kopi Luwak.

After winning the 43rd trophy of his career with that Copa América win, a holiday in Bali seems like a perfect way to spend his downtime before the 36-year-old returns to the pitch. We love that Alves and Sanz are exploring and experiencing so much of what Bali has to offer, including other top attractions such as Pura Ulun Danu Beratan and Tanah Lot in Tabanan, Monkey Forest in Ubud, and of course, infinity pools!
