The students of a primary school in Kintamani district were attending an online class conducted via WhatsApp when they suddenly received the pornographic video from their teacher. The students went on to report the incident to their parents, who filed complaints to the school.

Sulhadi, a spokesman from the Bangli Police, has confirmed the incident, explaining that the teacher has been summoned to a meeting with the parents, where he apologized for what happened. No further charges were filed against the teacher.

“He pressed the wrong button and did not intend [to send the video]. He has apologized to the parents,” Sulhadi said.

According to reports, the teacher intended to send a different video but ended up choosing one from his porn stash, and had no idea how to delete his message. After the incident, the teacher was also summoned by Bangli regency’s Youth Education and Sports Agency, where he received guidance as punishment. 

“He should have deleted the video right after sending it. But he couldn’t, it was two hours and he still didn’t delete it. This is purely unintentional, it’s possible that he doesn’t know how to properly use technology,” agency chief I Nengah Sukarta said.
