Japanese national and Banyuwangi man on trial in Bali for attacking a police officer
The trial of Toshiyuki Tabuchi, a Japanese national, and an Indonesian man from Banyuwangi, Subagiyono, who were both arrested last March for allegedly attacking a police officer in Kerobokan, began yesterday at the Denpasar Court.

Peruvian national sentenced to 10 year for smuggling 4 kg of cocaine into Bali
Yesterday, the Denpasar Court sentenced a Peruvian national, Jorgei Rafael Albornoz Gamarra, to 10 years in prison for smuggling 4 kilograms of cocaine into Bali.
“We sentence the defendant to 10 years in prison and a fine of IDR 1 billion (USD 70,500),” said Bambang Ekaputra, who heads the panel of judges, as quoted by Radar Bali.
